Hello,
Ever since I was a child I have had the need to create. Coloring, drawing, and sketching were my favorite pastime.
As I got older my need to create became even stronger. I decided one year as part of my new year's resolution that I would learn to paint. In my mind I was thinking I would take an art class, do a couple of paintings and that would be that. But that change rather quickly.
Once I began to paint for the first time something came over me. It was like I had escaped to a whole new world.I felt free. I soon realized that this isn't just something I wanted to learn, but something I that I needed.
Since then, I have made it my ultimate goal to expand my creativity, develop my artistic style, and improve my skills as an artist.
Painting has become a huge part of who I am. It's how I express myself and escape from the craziness of everyday life.
I become inspired by the simple things in nature. The soft pastel colors in a sunset, a delicate peony flower, the gentle breeze in the sky, and the crashing ocean waves.
When someone views my paintings I want them to be swept away into a whole new world. And feel as free as I feel when creating them.
